QCC Console Display Issue On Windows Server 2016 QLogic Adapters

SymptomProblem managing adapters via QCC GUI. When opening the GUI it will not open completely, just the background.
CauseThe issue is with Windows Server 2016 and Tomcat "SingleSignOn" being disabled. 
Action

The workaround is to:
  1. Uncomment SingleSignOn in the "server.xml" file. 
  2. Restart "Tomcat7" service. 

Detailed Instructions: 
  •  Edit the following "server.xml" file located in the following directory (careful, there are 2 "server.xml" files on the system and you need to edit this one): 
C:\Program Files\QLogic Corporation\QConvergeConsole\tomcat-x64\apache-tomcat-7.0.72\conf\server.xml 
  • Uncomment the following "SingleSignOn" line like this: 
Before:

<Valve className="org.apache.catalina.authenticator.SingleSignOn" /> 
--> 
__END FILE__ 
 
After: 
<Valve className="org.apache.catalina.authenticator.SingleSignOn" /> 

__END FILE__ 
 
  • Restart "Tomcat7" service from Computer Management Services. 

There is a newer version of QCC on the web but this is still broken in there. The next release will have this fix (after version 5.4.0.66)
